All four bands will arrive with new albums and perform in Poland on December 16 and 17 - first at Hype Park in Kraków and then at Proxima in Warsaw. The biggest metal band to ever come out of the Faroe Islands? That would naturally be Týr, who have spent nearly three decades conquering stages around the world with their uplifting blend of power metal and folk metal. The Faroese outfit's music will quickly transport you into a world of Norse mythology and Vikings. Named after the Norse god of war, the band has released nine studio albums to date, the latest of which, "Battle Ballads", came out two years ago.
