Jo Bubbles is the playful alter ego of Stockholm DJ, producer and teacher Jonas Dahlström. With an unstoppable energy for producing and laying down tracks that walks its own path, Jo’s music love affair takes its inspiration from the soulful and the left of centre of his musical awakening in the 90’s. With releases on labels such as Parkway Records, TTNOTDB and Västkransen his style leans toward disco and deep house as much as it explores new territory within dub, acid, ambient and techno on more recent outings on Globuli Records and Studio Barnhus. With the DIY collective Makemake Tapes, him and a handful of close friends have created an outlet for ambient and balearic dance music from highly secretive and undiscovered artists.

As a DJ, Bubbles will take you on a bold trip through deep, soulful, quirky and throbbing music that never fails to surprise the dancefloor.
