Since her breakthrough back in 2016 Åsa Söderqvist’s ShitKid has been one of the most interesting acts around, constantly defying expectations and breaking conventions, while getting praised by the likes of The FADER, i-D, NPR, The Line of Best Fit and many more. After abruptly ending the project in 2020 and disappearing from the music scene altogether, ShitKid is now back, set to tour around the world in 2026 as ShitKid celebrates 10 years since the debut single and EP, as well as releasing the compilation The Essential (Vol 1) which brings together the raw, rock-driven highlights from her career, as picked by Åsa herself.
