The Kids Sing", run by the NZ Choral Federation, is NZ's national primary and intermediate school-level choral competition, held annually in 8 centres. 2026's Auckland regional event runs over 3 days (7-9 September) in the Auckland Town Hall, encompassing a massed singing day, and two days of competition for those choirs choosing to compete. Here is your chance to hear more than 3,000 of NZ's musicians of the future, from over 50 schools, performing a wide variety of musical styles over multiple genres, including Maori, Pasifika, New Zealand, international folk music, popular and many others.
