Warsaw will become the city of sun on September 29th at VooDoo, with Kindred Sun as support. Although City of the Sun hail from the crowded streets of New York, you wouldn't know it from their music. Their sound is often labelled indie rock, but it draws heavily on Latin folk and even world music. The result is intimate, almost cinematic, transporting listeners to a world of desert winds, summer evenings in the city and Mediterranean summers. Their latest album, "Under the Moon", was released in April and produced by Phil Ek, known for his work with artists including Fleet Foxes and Father John Misty. Kindred Sun are an indie rock trio.
