Evian Christ has spent the last decade carving out one of the most singular spaces in experimental club music. Initially finding recognition for his production contributions to Billboard-topping albums by Kanye West, Travis Scott and Danny Brown, and later as the founder of the enduringly influential TranceParty series, the UK based producer has continually pushed at the boundaries of what contemporary electronic music is, can be, and what it can feel like.
Releasing key works through Warp Records, Christ’s output explores the lingering emotional and cultural potential of trance music, not merely as escapism or euphoria, but as something capable of evoking the full weight of the sublime. That vision reached its clearest expression on Revanchist (2023), a debut album balancing celestial ambience, intense pressure and ecstatic release with remarkable emotional depth.
His live performances have become known for their overwhelming intensity: emotionally charged, physically explosive and engulfed in blinding strobes, collapsing walls of smoke and crushing low-end pressure.
