Alexa Tarantino. Saxofonista (alto y soprano), flautista y compositora radicada en Nueva York, reconocida por su versatilidad y energía en el escenario. Egresada del Eastman School of Music y con maestría en Jazz Studies de Juilliard, ha tocado con formaciones destacadas: integró la DIVA Jazz Orchestra de Sherrie Maricle, es miembro de la Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, y ha colaborado con Darcy James Argüello, Wynton Marsalis, Arturo O'Farrill (Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra) y Cécile McLorin Salvant. Como líder ha editado varios álbumes aclamados por la crítica.
