The Long Night of Museums on 29 August will be all about crime: "Crime in Berlin" From shadowy places and mysterious murders to seedy nightclubs: Under the theme 'Crime in Berlin', 75 museums will transport visitors into the world of crime with around 750 events! Which were the most spectacular art heists, and was the loot ever recovered? How did the three men whose bones were found at Petri churchyard die? What bizarre items do customs officials find in travellers' suitcases? From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., you can uncover the mysteries of crime. Join us to analyse threatening letters and blackmail notes, visit locations from Babylon Berlin, and reconstruct mysterious serial murders in 1920s Berlin. You can also experience crime tango, swing like at the Moka Efti, and try crime karaoke. Young detectives can enjoy plenty of hands-on activities and scavenger hunts. If you've ever wanted to forge art completely legally, the MACHmit! Museum for Children is the place for you. 75 museums -- 750 events -- one ticket.
