None of these challenges can be addressed in isolation. The dimensions of sustainability are deeply interrelated, and progress on one front can easily displace pressure onto another. This meeting brings together research that studies sustainability both individually and at its intersections.
Eight selected papers address hospital-insurer contracting, surgical productivity, community pharmacy policy, artificial intelligence and hospital employment, workforce development and skill mix, climate adaptation governance, environmentally sustainable medicines systems, and institutional fragility in high-income health systems.
