The Cold Alligators sattes ihop på beställning ifrån den norska Oslobaserade klubben Darkness Descends i samband med 45-årsjubileumet av den fullständiga utgåvan av den legendariske Roky Ericksons kultalbum ”THE EVIL ONE”. Sagt och gjort drogs en så kallad supergrupp av diverse musiker från band såsom Obnoxious Youth, Dictator Ship, Snuffed by the Yakuza, Reveal och Plot of Knives ihop för att framföra ”THE EVIL ONE” i sin helhet. Spelningen i Oslo ägde rum i Februari 2026 och blev en stor succé och därför kändes en spelning på hemmaplan som en självklarhet.
