Optimism is not only a feeling and a place we long for, but also the title of their new album. Digitalism will spread the urgent energy of the album Optimism through the new record as well as live performances across Europe. The DIY spirit, the energy of the present moment, and zero tolerance for boredom - all of this has been essential to Digitalism's work since the time when, more than twenty years ago, they created their first track and quickly made a breakthrough on the cult French label Kitsuné. The album Optimism is the logical result of the duo's gradual development. Ever since the breakthrough album Idealism (2007), they have been gaining fans with an energetic sound that connects club electronics, indie rock, and strong melodies. It was from this album that their best-known tracks Zdarlight and Pogo originated, which became anthems of the electro-indie generation of that time.
