SORAI is built on open data and open-source software. We're grateful to these projects and honour their licences and attribution requirements.

Map data

Map and venue data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Our venue layer (cafés, bars, restaurants, clubs) is derived from OpenStreetMap.

Maps & rendering

• MapLibre GL JS — interactive map rendering (BSD-3-Clause).
• Base map styles & tiles from OpenFreeMap and CARTO, themselves built on OpenStreetMap data.

Event & ticketing data

• Ticketmaster — event listings and ticket links, used under the Ticketmaster Developer terms.
• Billetto — public event listings, used under the Billetto Public API terms (links retain Billetto's required UTM tags).
• Payments by Stripe.

AI

The concierge and venue “reads” are generated using large-language-model providers (e.g. Google Gemini and/or OpenAI). AI-generated content is marked in the product with the cyan ✦.

Software

Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion, among other open-source libraries — each used under its own licence (MIT unless noted).

Photography & brand

Venue and event imagery is provided by the respective organisers/sources. The SORAI name, monogram and the “Thread” identity are trademarks of the Operator.
